You might have heard that I was lucky enough to be part of the Errl Cup which is Arizona's Cannabis Cup. It is a contest to find the top of the heap in the marijuana industry in Arizona.
I was given the vape category and received my test kit of samples from local companies!
It was amazing!
While I was in Phoenix, I stopped a grabbed a photo with Snoop dog. I mean come on, it's Snoop.
So since the Sedona International Film Festival was about a week ago I thought we'd talk about the award winners during this the season of award shows.
The envelope, please...
My winner for the Vape pen Sativa category was K.I.N.D. Live Resin vape. Costs a little more but well worth it! I choose the Girl Scout Cookie strain as the winner. They press the flower before drying, so it retains more of the trephine flavors. I'm oversimplifying the process, but that's the basic explanation.
These vapes are also higher strength than I've seen in the past, so a single puff does the trick. One cartridge contains 1000mg of medication vs. the 250mg cartridges that I'm used to seeing.
In the Indica category, the winner was the same brand of Live Resin; the True OG was my favorite. It placed second overall.
These new vapes are super strong and tasty. I love the portability and the convenience of them. They've come a long way from the first throat burning vile tasting early vape pens. If you can find the live resin types in your area, the taste difference is amazing.
Also, I got to test the pain patches and an intimacy oil. Both worked well. I think that the patches at 50mg may be too much for most of my patient's comfort level. The manufacturer was at the Erll Cup, and I asked if they could be cut into smaller dosages, and they said no problem, cut away.
So I'd suggest if you'd like to try them cut it into smaller equal pieces and try that first. They worked far better than I assumed they would.
As for the intimacy oil I think more research is required. Lots and Lots of research. (wink wink)
